Interactive navigation tool to help travellers explore Scotland’s beauty responsibly

Innovative Scottish start-up Electrek Explorer, founded by entrepreneur Elaine Ford, has recently featured in the news. Electrek Explorer provides an interactive navigation tool to help travellers explore Scotland’s nature reserves and scenic routes while also delivering much-needed information to address “range anxiety” for those touring Scotland in electric vehicles - the tool delivers crucial info on EV charging points and accommodation which caters for electric vehicles along the route.

The start-up has received support from the Geovation Scotland Accelerator programme – a joint initiative between Registers of Scotland, Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry.
